[Review] Dermeden Hydro Protocole Rich Cream

DermEden Rich Cream is a French-made moisturizer that has quickly become a favourite of mine for deep hydration and anti-aging support.The formula is enriched with multi-molecular hyaluronic acid to plump and moisturize, pro-collagen actives to improve firmness, and phytosqualane to reinforce the skin’s natural barrier. What makes it stand out is its dermatologist-tested, fragrance-free, and non-comedogenic formulation, which makes it suitable even for reactive skin prone to redness or irritation.

The texture is luxuriously rich and nourishing, making it an excellent choice for those with photo-aged skin or anyone looking for a hydrating night cream. But I use it for day too, just a light layer. While the price point is on the higher side, its effectiveness in delivering visible anti-aging results and improving skin resilience makes it a worthwhile investment for those seeking long-term skin health.

For reactive skin, the inclusion of gluconolactone (PHA) deserves a mention. This gentle exfoliating antioxidant can sometimes cause a mild tingling or redness, especially if combined with strong actives such as retinal or azelaic acid. To avoid overstimulation, it’s best not to use DermEden Rich Cream on the same day as other exfoliants.
